Frequently Asked Questions

What should we wear?

Wear comfortable covered shoes. We provide overalls.

Do the paintballs wash out?

Yes if paint gets on your clothes it is non toxic and washes out very easily.

Is there an age restriction?

We don’t recommend children under the age of 10 years old play, however we do leave it to parents discretion as you know your children best. Children need to be responsible, able to take the hit as it does hurt a bit and able to safely hold a paintball gun/marker.

Is it safe?

Yes very safe. At Queenstown Paintball we are BIG in safety and take extra precautions to ensure everyone leaves our field with a big smile.

Does it hurt?

Some what but If you do get hit with a bit of a stinger the adrenaline is pumping so much that it wears off in a few seconds. We feel it hurts enough to show your opposition some respect which adds to the excitement and realism of the game.

This very much depends on how trigger happy you are. The average person goes through 400 to 500 paintballs in a game.

We can join you with another group if there is one available. We can cater for up to 45 players. But let us know if you are wanting us to cater for a larger group.

We allocate 2 hours per game which includes a thorough safety brief and a short breaks between games. The time varies depending on the size of your group and your paintball budget.
